Once that first date blossoms into a relationship, however, some couples use photos to keep things exciting. In fact, 29 percent of Americans would send a sexy photo of themselves to their significant other.
Meanwhile, many other Americans (56 percent) show their affection by sending emoticons or Emojis.
According to the survey, after the honeymoon phase, couples should keep their most bothersome qualities at bay or risk getting kicked to the curb. With 12 percent of Americans reporting they would break up with someone via text, their end might look a lot like their beginning.
