LifeProof Introduces Waterproof Smartphone Cases
LifeProof, a maker of all-protective cases for smartphones and tablets, has announced LifeProof nüüd for Apple iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy SIII, claimed to be the first waterproof, all-protective smartphone cases without a screen cover.
The LifeProof nüüd lets users touch the actual screen while their smartphones stay totally protected from water, drops, sweat, dirt and other hazards of daily living.
The Apple iPhone 5 case, the first nüüd smartphone case offered, will be sold at Best Buy and on the LifeProof website beginning on July 7, 2013 for $89.99. The nüüd case for the Samsung Galaxy SIII will soon follow, says the company.
LifeProof’s patent-pending Screenless Technology uses a compression lock system that forms a waterproof seal between the case and the device touchscreen – delivering complete four-proof protection while maintaining clarity and touch.

Based in San Diego, LifeProof offers protective cases for smartphones and tablet PCs.
