MetroPCS Offers LG Optimus F6 with 4G Experience

MetroPCS, a brand of T-Mobile US (NYSE: TMUS), has introduced a new, full-featured 4G Android smartphone – the Optimus F6 from LG Electronics.

According to the company, Optimus F6 delivers high-end functionality when combined with MetroPCS’ nationwide 4G service plans.

MetroPCS’ 4G service plans offer unlimited data, talk and text – taxes and regulatory fees included – starting at $40.

Optimus F6 has access to 4G LTE and HSPA+ connectivity on T-Mobile’s 4G and growing LTE network. Powered by Android 4.1, the Optimus F6 combines a 4.5-inch display, 5 megapixel rear camera with 1080P video capture, 1.3 megapixel front camera for video chat and a 1.2GHz dual-core processor for multitasking.

The Optimus F6 is available for $199 plus tax in MetroPCS stores and online. The company made this announcement today, Sept. 30.
