“Spider-Man is an iconic Super Hero recognized around the world, and we created this app with the fans in mind, giving them several cool ways to express their fandom and personalize their mobile devices like never before,” said Julien Mitelberg, Cellfish co-founder and chief operating officer.
The freemium version of the application provides access to a live wallpaper design featuring a close-up of Spider-Man’s face. With one swipe of the screen, users can guide Spidey to look in different directions, providing a 180-degree panoramic view of the New York City skyline.
Simultaneously, various images reflect in his mask’s mirrored lenses, including Spider-Man’s archenemy the Lizard, his alter ego Peter Parker, and his love interest Gwen Stacy.
Premium versions allow users to unlock an alert and soundboard bundle that includes a “Spidey Sense” text message alert and an email alert or the option to purchase a Spider-Man-themed clock and ringtone featuring audio clips from the film. Future updates will include a Spider-Man keyboard skin, available for purchase. It was announced today, July 9.
