Honda Releases New YouTube Video Series

What Makes a Honda is Who Makes a Honda

A new video series called “What Makes a Honda is Who Makes a Honda” begins to tell the stories of Honda’s more than 30,000 North American associates – both on and off the job.

Beginning April 3, Honda introduces 12 associates who believe that building quality communities is just as important as building quality products.

They come from across North America, from small towns and big cities, volunteering and working hands-on to improve their neighborhoods.

The videos also spotlight the diverse career opportunities that exist within Honda, while also showcasing inspiring ways these associates give back.

The series begins with Eddie Caldwell, a production associate from Honda Manufacturing of Alabama (HMA) in Lincoln, Ala.

Caldwell is a 12-year Honda veteran, specializing in rear suspension assembly for the Ridgeline, Odyssey and Pilot.

He also serves as acting captain for Hollins (Alabama) Volunteer Fire and Rescue, responding to a variety of emergency situations as a volunteer firefighter.

His dedicated community service qualifies him for HMA’s unique HondaStar program, which not only encourages associates to volunteer, but also provides a donation to the non-profit in his or her honor once the associate reaches 40 hours of volunteer service each year.

The “What Makes a Honda is Who Makes a Honda” series will run on YouTube.
