Purify Media has announced the release of PurifyArt.com, an ad-free service directly connecting artists and fans.
It enables artists and fans to find and promote music, images and video on one platform, maximizing the revenue artists and companies receive for sharing and selling content while providing viewers one affordable, complete, and interactive online service, says the company.
“We developed this media platform to help artists be more successful and to give fans a place to appreciate art without advertising,” said Bryan Richter, Purify Media founder.
“Now, PurifyArt.com is officially released and already developing new features, offering the public a service that brings integrity to art online.”
The media player integrates audio, video, and visual art into one custom playlist, powered by Amazon, SoundCloud, YouTube, and Vimeo.
eCommerce tools include direct-to-fan sales, tips on free downloads, and Fan Club Memberships where users can share exclusive media for an annual fee.
Artists and companies receive 95% of profits after PayPal transaction fees, the highest rate of return for artists online.
Purify Media aims to improve PurifyArt.com mobile compatibility and performance over the next year. The company has released its Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign to build the updated version for release in Spring 2015.
“Crowdfunding provides us with the valuable feedback we need to continue to develop the user interface into something that incorporates both vast functionality and is easy to use,” Richter added.
