The Republican National Committee (RNC) / GOP has launched a social media challenge under the hashtag #MyStory in order to engage the voters for the upcoming U.S. presidential election.

Across the country, according to GOP, volunteers, students, and even elected representatives are taking to social media to challenge each other to the #MyStory challenge.

Meanwhile, RNC chairman Reince Priebus and likely presumptive Republican nominee Donald J. Trump have announced the 2016 Trump Victory leadership team. The Trump Victory Committee will provide coordinated support to Trump.

We think Republicans have the best chance of success when WE are telling the story of what we are for, what we believe, and what we want for the future of our country. It doesn’t make sense to let anyone else speak for us, GOP explained on its blog.

So we challenged some of our volunteers and staff to share what brought them to the Republican party. To keep it going, they nominated friends, family, and peers to participate and pass it along, says the party.

It claims that within a few days it saw over 100 people stand up and share their story. “Even a few Congressman got wind of the campaign and joined us,” says GOP.

You can tell your story on microblogging site Twitter that why you’re a Republican by sharing a 30 second video. You can use #MyStory and #LeadRight2016 and nominate others to share their story.
