Imaging company Epson suggests that a thoughtful printed photo sent to a significant other can help express love in a personal way.
Now that smartphone and tablet users can easily print remotely to Epson Connect-enabled models, they can share heart-felt images or special moments from across the globe.
This concept is at the heart of Epson “Be Here, Print There” Remote Romeo Contest, which reminds mobile users to love and print responsibly.
Epson invites eligible participants to watch the short Remote Romeo video and tweet Angela’s response to philandering boyfriend’s (“Romeo’s”) attempt to reconcile. G-rated Twitter responses using the hash tag #EpsonConnect starting on Feb. 1 through Valentine’s Day are eligible to win.
An Epson panel of judges will select 10 winners based on the creativity, originality and relevancy of responses to receive an Epson Expression Premium XP-600 Small-in-One.
“Flowers and chocolate are so old school. Today’s mobile users are looking for new, real-time ways to share and show their affection, and printed photos are a perfect way to express their love from anywhere,” said Jeff Muto, product development manager, Epson America, Inc.
“Our relationship-based contest has some fun with this idea, and is a terrific stage for showcasing the ease and impact of printing remotely.”
The Epson Connect suite of free mobile printing solutions is designed to meet the printing needs of busy, mobile users by offering the freedom to print documents, photos, emails, and web pages from remote locations onto any Epson Connect-enabled printer.
Epson Connect also increases productivity by scanning and saving documents directly to the cloud. Compatible with a wide range of mobile devices, Epson Connect gives users the power to easily print from an Apple iPad, iPhone, tablet, smartphone, or computer from anywhere.
