T-Mobile USA announced Monday the appointment of Drew Kelton to the newly created role of executive vice president of B2B, reporting to president and CEO John Legere.
“Drew’s track record as a strategic and visionary leader in the industry and his passion for building highly effective teams couldn’t be better suited to our plans to redefine the wireless experience for business customers,” Legere said.
Most recently, Kelton was president of Bharti Airtel Business in India. Prior to Airtel Business, Kelton served as managing director for Telstra International, where he established the company as a leading player in the Asia Pacific region, according to T-Mobile.
Frank Sickinger, senior vice president of B2B, will continue in his role, reporting to Kelton.
Kelton’s appointment is the latest in a series of moves being made by T-Mobile’s president and CEO, John Legere, to reposition T- Mobile as the Un-carrier, a new kind of wireless company that aims to redefine the rules of the industry.
Based in Bellevue, Wash., T-Mobile USA, Inc. is the U.S. wireless operation of Deutsche Telekom AG (OTCQX: DTEGY).
