Global Leaders and Tech Pioneers Set to Define AI Governance in Geneva
Geneva is poised to become the international epicenter for artificial intelligence this July as the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) hosts the AI for Good Global Summit 2026. Taking place at the Palexpo convention centre from July 7 to 10, the summit is organized in partnership with over 50 United Nations agencies and is co-convened by the Swiss Confederation.
This year’s gathering is particularly significant as it runs alongside the UN’s inaugural Global Dialogue on AI Governance (July 6–7), a high-level initiative facilitated by UN Secretary-General António Guterres to foster international cooperation on AI policy and standards.
From humanoid robots to quantum computing, the AI for Good Summit is where the future of technology meets the urgency of global policy.
A Powerhouse Lineup of Speakers
The summit will host an unprecedented array of speakers from government, industry, and academia. Key figures include:
- Doreen Bogdan-Martin, ITU Secretary-General and summit host.
- H.E. Paul Kagame, President of Rwanda.

Join the global conversation as the UN’s inaugural Dialogue on AI Governance sets the stage for a new era of international digital standards.
Showcasing Breakthrough Technologies
Beyond policy discussions, the event features a 20,000 m² expo showcasing over 200 technology demonstrations. Attendees will experience firsthand the latest in:
- Humanoid and service robots.
- Brain-computer interfaces and quantum technologies.
- AI for Social Good: Solutions targeting healthcare, food security, disaster response, and education.
As nations move to deploy increasingly capable AI systems, this summit serves as the primary platform for ensuring these technologies are developed and governed for the benefit of humanity.
