Trendsetters on Bloom’s Social Beauty Network provide real-time inspiration by snapping photos of their own looks and tagging the products they used. In the next version, consumers will be able to purchase those products directly through the mobile app.
Bloom.com is expanding its social beauty network with a free mobile app that allows beauty enthusiasts to discover the hottest beauty trends, products and professionals.
“Now you can search specific looks and learn how to get them,” says Bloom founder, Julie Mahloch.
The iPhone app serves both, allowing users to see the work of beauty professionals and search for local pros by the services they provide. Users can even call professionals directly from the Bloom Beauty Trends App to book appointments.
Released Monday, Oct. 15, the new mobile application is currently available on the Apple Store and is compatible with most Apple devices. Bloom.com also plans to release a version of the Beauty Trends App to the Android market.
