Valpak Direct Marketing Systems, Inc., which offers local print and digital coupons, announces Valpak coupons can now be saved onto the Samsung Wallet.
“By integrating with the Samsung Wallet technologies, Valpak can deliver a simple experience for consumers to save time and money at local merchants right from their phone,” said Michael Vivio, president of Cox Target Media, provider of Valpak.
The Samsung Wallet lets users manage their offers, tickets and loyalty points, and gives them access to their purchased tickets easily, including airline boarding passes, event tickets and grocery membership cards.
Two significant features of the Samsung Wallet are alerts are sent when a customer is within close proximity to a business, and notification is sent when the coupon is about to expire.
Not only is that different than other wallets, but this feature can be turned on or off by the user. That helps the consumer personalize the coupon experience, so they get just the coupons they want, says the company.
“The Samsung Wallet allows consumers to curate their own experience,” said Vivio. “Everything in your wallet is personalized for you, by you. It makes it exceptionally easy to use your coupons.”
The Samsung Wallet will be available for download on Galaxy S III, Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note, Galaxy Note II and Galaxy Note 3. The announcement was made today, Oct. 30.
