Media intelligence outfit Gorkana Group in the UK has launched its first Mobile App giving PR (public relations), communications and marketing professionals mobile access to detailed journalist and media profiles with the ability to call, email and tweet some of the world’s top media people directly from the App.

Meanwhile, another app offered access to breaking announcements from public and private companies, governmental departments and NGOs from around the world, posts from top PR and marketing blogs and all of PR Newswire’s own social media output from its main Twitter and Facebook accounts. With more organizations needing to engage with journalists and bloggers as stories and conversations break 24 hours a day – from September the App will also give them immediate access to the latest media coverage about their organization or brand.
