Digital Learning Series Launched for Pharmaceutical Advertisers

Silverlight Digital, a boutique digital media agency in New York, announced Tuesday that it is expanding its pharmaceutical and healthcare learning series along with partner, Google.

The series will syndicate the event as a webinar. The goal of the webinar and learning series is to educate digital advertisers, brand managers, and ad agencies on legal, creative and regulatory guidelines required by Google and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for pharmaceutical and healthcare advertising.

“We find that when pharmaceutical drug manufactures or their creative agencies want to rush into a campaign, they are often not being properly advised on the regulatory compliance needed,” said Lori Goldberg, CEO of Silverlight Digital. “If these issues are not addressed in the early stages of campaign creation, they can result in serious delays.”

“Partnering with Silverlight Digital gives us an opportunity to address both sides of the digital equation,” added Pablo Mejia, Agency Development Manager for Google. “We can address the creative and media buying questions as well as the guidelines required by Google and the FDA to run an effective campaign, while utilizing the best new products that Google has to offer advertisers.”

The first webinar event will broadcast from Google’s New York headquarters and take place on Thursday, April 7 at 2:00pm EST and will be hosted by representatives from both Google and Silverlight Digital.

The webinar will include a 40-minute presentation followed by a questions and answers session where attendees interact with the hosts.
