“Yahoo News on POTUS” to Launch on SiriusXM

Yahoo News and SiriusXM announced Tuesday the launch of “Yahoo News on POTUS,” a live, weekly show, beginning today, December 3rd, on SiriusXM POTUS, the 24/7 non-partisan channel dedicated to the Politics of the United States. “Yahoo News on POTUS” is said to be the first national radio platform for Yahoo News.

Hosted by Yahoo News’ chief White House correspondent, Olivier Knox, “Yahoo News on POTUS” will feature live interviews with national leaders in politics and public life as well as special guests tackling current events and more.

Each show will feature a news-maker of the week, and a dynamic roundtable led by Knox with an alternating panel of Yahoo News’ political contributors including Matt Bai, Michael Isikoff, Meredith Shiner, Liz Goodwin and Jon Ward.

Incoming Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Senator Cory Gardner are scheduled as guests for the show’s debut. The new show will air on SiriusXM channel 124 Wednesdays at 2:00 pm ET.

“‘Yahoo News on POTUS’ brings the authoritative Yahoo News brand to radio for the very first time,” said Dave Gorab, VP and general manager, Talk Programming, SiriusXM. “SiriusXM listeners coast to coast will now be able to listen to the sharp insight and analysis of the Yahoo News political team while driving in their cars.”

After each broadcast, “Yahoo News on POTUS” will be available on SiriusXM On Demand for subscribers listening via the SiriusXM Internet Radio App for smartphones and other mobile devices or online at siriusxm.com.
