Delhi Govt Plans to Use Technology for Good Governance

Hotmail founder Sabeer Bhatia on Monday met Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal at the Delhi Secretariat to discuss the enhanced use of technology to improve governance.

According to Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Bhatia shared several technology initiatives with the Delhi Chief Minister. Both of them discussed the best practices in technology being used throughout the globe.

The use of technology in governance and to make governance better was also discussed in the meeting. Bhatia shared several ideas and discussions were held on them. Both agreed on the use of the latest technology for swifter redressal of issues in several areas of governance.

According to AAP, Bhatia said technology can be used in emergency situations as well as day-to-day functioning of departments like transport, water, traffic, etc.

The Chief Minister asked Bhatia to give a detailed presentation on Thursday on the use of technology for better governance. Bhatia will present it to the cabinet and senior bureaucrats of Delhi Government on Thursday at the Delhi Secretariat.
