Belkin Thunderstorm Handheld Home Theater Case for iPad 4
Tech products company Belkin has announced the Thunderstorm Handheld Home Theater for iPad 4th generation, a speaker dock that enhances the sound quality of music, movies and video games.
It connects directly to the iPad through an integrated Lightning dock connector, ensuring a powerful audio experience while enjoying your favorite content.
A host of new product and mobile app features further enhance the Thunderstorm listening experience, says the company.
“Apple’s latest iPad with retina display provides the highest quality visual experience, and Thunderstorm Handheld Home Theater delivers amplified audio to match for complete content engagement and shareable entertainment,” says Nate Kraft, director of product management at Belkin.
“It is a truly portable speaker case that seamlessly integrates with the iPad 4 to create a unified experience whether you are at home or on the go.”
The new Thunderstorm features an updated chassis that integrates a new Sound Mode button allowing users to cycle between four different sound mode options—music, movies, gaming and conference call—to best match the content on their tablet.
The new conference call mode enhances voice frequencies when using Skype’s VoIP calling service. Previously only available through the Thunderstorm app, the Sound Mode button features an audible voiceover that informs users of the sound mode setting.
Through the updated Thunderstorm app, users can automatically maintain the left and right channel audio output even when the Thunderstorm is turned upside down, ensuring undistorted, dynamic sound.
Belkin’s Thunderstorm Handheld Home Theater is powered by mobile sound option, Audifi, and features high-efficiency, front-facing speakers that project cinematic-quality sound. Bass frequencies are optimized through ported speakers and integrated air channels.
Belkin has partnered with Hulu to provide a free month of Hulu Plus for new subscribers with the purchase of a Thunderstorm Handheld Home Theater, giving users access to premium television content on their iPad, supported by Thunderstorm’s rich audio.
