WebMD Health Corp. (Nasdaq: WBMD), a leading source of health information, announced Thursday the launch of the WebMD Pregnancy app.

It is a free iPhone app offering expectant moms WebMD’s physician-reviewed pregnancy information that is customizable to fit a woman’s unique pregnancy.

The WebMD Pregnancy App is WebMD’s latest addition to its multi-screen platform approach which provides health information to consumers.

A survey reveals that for many young adult women, an unplanned pregnancy could alter the course of their future plan.

And statistics show that there were more than 3 million unintended pregnancies in the United States alone, with the highest incidence occurring with women 20-24 years old in 2006. (Read: Why Young Women Must Plan Their Pregnancy)
