A company with the name DCL Ventures has announced the upcoming launch of AllPaws.com for people looking to adopt a pet.
According to the company, the website will offer an online dating style interface with advanced search tools, direct messaging, match alerts via email, along with a host of other features and tools.
As a result, people will be able to find pets while choosing from a list of available animals.
Founded by Darrell Lerner, the animal site also aims to use social media to reduce the number of pets in rescues and animal shelters and help more homeless pets find good homes.
The site will be free to use and is expected to be available to users in fall 2013.
