Premiering on Wednesday, Jan. 23, the second season of the online reality program “Fit or Flop” features a panel of celebrity and industry expert judges who challenge emergent personal trainers and fitness instructors to demonstrate why they are worthy of the crown of America’s Best Fitness Star.
Apogee Media has announced the return of the interactive fitness trainer competition web series “Fit or Flop”, launching on the official series website, www.fitorflop.com.
The winning contestant receives $150,000 of video and promotional services from the show’s producer, Apogee Media, according to the company. Brett Hoebel, Jenna Autuori-Dedic, and Allison Ceraso join the team to provide sizzling chemistry and unique angles of expertise.
Using the show’s signature “fit” or “flop” buttons judges measure contestants’ fitness brands based on five essential elements of trainer stardom: Concept, Marketability, Star Power, Personality and User-Base.
“Riding a great buzz generated from the first season, we were excited to upgrade the production by having a much improved cast of celebrity judges and hosts, auditioning more inspiring contestants, and adding elimination rounds to the online voting campaign,” commented Ali Matlock, Producer.
Beginning March 13, 2013, after the release of six episodes, all contestants deemed a “fit” by the expert panel of judges are provided streaming clips of their full interview and auditions on the official website; and visitors are given the option to vote fit or flop, helping to determine the $150,000 prize package winner and that title of America’s Best Trainer for season 2 of “Fit or Flop”.
