Samsung Telecommunications America, LLC announced Wednesday that Christina Pantin has joined the company as vice president of public relations. Pantin will oversee and drive all public relations programs and initiatives in support of Samsung in the U.S.

“We welcome Christina to our Samsung family and look forward to the talent and expertise in the public relations and journalism sectors she will bring to our growing company,” said Gregory Lee, president and CEO of Samsung Electronics North America. “Her leadership and experience will enhance our public relations initiatives and external communications as we drive continued growth and market leadership.”

Pantin brings more than 27 years of experience with a knowledge of media and investor relations and international business operations management, as well as extensive experience in the journalism sector.

She joins Samsung from the business communications firm Brunswick Group and previously spent 25 years at Reuters.

Pantin holds a Master’s Degree in international affairs from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s Degree in journalism from West Virginia University. She was born and raised in Malaysia and has worked throughout Asia and the U.S.

Samsung Telecommunications America, LLC, a Dallas-based subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., researches, develops and markets wireless handsets, wireless infrastructure and other telecommunications products throughout North America.
