FRANKFURT, Germany – Samsung Electronics is currently hosting its 2026 European Tech Seminar, providing media and industry professionals with an exclusive first look at its next generation of AI-powered TVs, displays, and audio innovations. Now in its 15th year, the seminar focuses on how artificial intelligence is evolving the role of the screen to be more adaptive and relevant to the daily lives of users.

The Rise of the Vision AI Companion

At the heart of the 2026 lineup is the Vision AI Companion (VAC), an integrated AI platform designed to make the television more intuitive and context-aware. This “intelligent companion” allows users to engage with content more naturally, providing real-time information on-screen and assisting with everyday tasks such as discovering recipes or planning travel.

Beyond the VAC, Samsung has introduced several specialized AI features to optimize the viewing experience:

  • AI Upscaling Pro: Uses AI to sharpen low-resolution content with enhanced depth and contrast.
  • AI Soccer Mode Pro: Automatically adapts picture and sound settings to match the high-speed intensity of live sports.
  • AI Sound Controller Pro: Analyzes dialogue and background noise, allowing users to fine-tune elements like crowd noise for better immersion.

Advancements in Display and OLED Technology

Samsung continues to push the boundaries of picture quality with its latest Micro RGB technology. Powered by the Micro RGB AI Engine Pro, these displays offer precise color control and achieve 100% color coverage of the BT.2020 standard, ensuring highly accurate and lifelike visuals.

The company also showcased its expanded 2026 OLED lineup, which includes the S99H, S90H, and S85H models. The flagship S99H features a FloatLayer Design for a lighter aesthetic, while the S90H now includes Glare Free technology to reduce reflections in bright environments.

High-Performance Gaming and Lifestyle Audio

The seminar also highlighted new hardware for gamers and audiophiles. The gaming display lineup features the Odyssey G6 OLED, boasting a 500Hz refresh rate, and a 32-inch Odyssey G8 with 6K resolution.

In audio, Samsung introduced the Music Studio 7 and Music Studio 5 Wi-Fi speakers. These devices utilize AI Dynamic Bass Control for distortion-free low frequencies and enhanced Q-Symphony technology to synchronize sound across multiple connected devices.

A Commitment to Accessible Innovation

“This year, we are expanding advanced AI across our full lineup, from premium to more accessible models,” said Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. He noted that these innovations in picture, sound, and connectivity are redefining what users should expect from modern screens.

As Samsung marks its 20th consecutive year as the world’s leading TV brand, the 2026 lineup reinforces its commitment to maintaining market leadership through continuous technological evolution.
