Nancy O’Dell to Host NAB Show Television Event

Nancy O’Dell, Emmy Award-winning co-anchor of “Entertainment Tonight,” will host the NAB Show Television Luncheon, held Monday, April 8 in Las Vegas.

Since joining “Entertainment Tonight” in January 2011, O’Dell has secured exclusive interviews with people such as President Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, Oprah, Angelina Jolie, Jamie Foxx, Johnny Depp, Taylor Swift and Leann Rimes, according to NAB.

“Nancy O’Dell is a highly accomplished entertainment journalist,” said NAB executive VP of Television Marcellus Alexander. “Her vibrant personality will energize attendees at the NAB Show Television Luncheon.”

In addition to her journalistic work, O’Dell (pictured above) has appeared in movies such as “Smurfs 3,” “Thank You for Smoking” and several of the “Scream” flicks. Television guest appearances include “30 Rock,” “Hannah Montana,” “Sesame Street,” “The Simpsons” and “Ally McBeal.”

During the NAB Show Television Luncheon, American Idol, the long-running reality competition series, will be inducted into the NAB Broadcasting Hall of Fame.

NAB Show, to be held April 6-11, 2013 in Las Vegas, is the world’s leading electronic media show covering filmed entertainment and the development, management and delivery of content across all mediums.
