Sweden’s Blueair, which offers indoor air purification solutions, has launched a mobile app about air pollution for Indian users. According to the company, the app is designed to keep India’s 377 million city dwellers updated about the hazards of the air they are breathing.

Announced today, the Blueair mobile app provides Indian citizens concerned about their health the opportunity to discover in real time the level of pollution they are breathing.

The app monitors the level of air pollution in cities such as New Delhi, Chennai, and Mumbai, where there is a high risk of air pollution-related diseases. The app collects information from local air monitoring stations and delivers it directly to a mobile device.
