OKLAHOMA CITY — Paycom Software, Inc. (NYSE: PAYC), a prominent provider of cloud-based human capital management software, has officially announced a multiyear partnership with NBA champion and All-Star Jalen “JDub” Williams. This collaboration marks the debut of the “Answers” campaign, which is designed to highlight Paycom’s innovative, command-driven AI engine known as IWant.
The campaign is set to launch across TV, digital, social, and print platforms, with a flagship commercial making its debut during nationally televised NBA games on Christmas Day. In the lighthearted advertisement, Williams is seen using the IWant engine to navigate everyday tasks and professional inquiries, such as checking his postseason bonus while out shopping and questioning if a championship parade qualifies as an official company holiday.
Jason Bodin, Paycom’s executive vice president of marketing and communications, noted that Williams’ winning mindset and approachable personality make him an ideal ambassador for the brand. Williams expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, noting that his own team uses Paycom. “When a brand like Paycom matches that energy and represents performance and style, it’s easy to vibe in the creative process,” Williams stated.
The “Answers” initiative follows a previous campaign featuring actor James Marsden, where Marsden portrayed a CEO utilizing IWant to instantly access employee data and address real-time challenges. Paycom’s IWant technology is designed to revolutionize data access by allowing users to obtain accurate information without needing to manually navigate or learn complex software.
The new commercial will be broadcast across major national cable networks and various streaming services, including YouTube TV, Roku, Peacock, HBO Max, and Disney+. For over 25 years, Oklahoma City-based Paycom has focused on streamlining business processes through automated, employee-first technology.
Navigating traditional HR software can often feel like trying to find a specific seat in a massive, darkened arena without a usher; Paycom’s IWant acts as a personal courtside guide, providing the exact information you need the moment you ask for it.
