AUSTIN, Texas, and REDMOND, Wash. — Feb. 18, 2026 — Microsoft Corp. and CrowdStrike announced an expansion of their strategic alliance today, making the CrowdStrike Falcon platform available for purchase directly through the Microsoft Marketplace. This milestone allows organizations of all sizes to acquire Falcon’s AI-native protection using their existing Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment (MACC) funds.

The integration aims to streamline the procurement process, allowing customers to accelerate the deployment of security across endpoints, cloud workloads, identity, AI, and data. By utilizing the Marketplace, businesses can consolidate billing and reduce operational overhead, effectively optimizing their committed cloud spend.

“Security is the foundation for AI Transformation,” said Judson Althoff, CEO of Microsoft’s commercial business. He noted that providing financial flexibility through the Microsoft Marketplace allows customers to rigorously improve their security posture while managing cloud costs.

George Kurtz, CEO and founder of CrowdStrike, emphasized the importance of speed in defense, stating that “adversaries don’t wait for budget cycles”. He explained that the collaboration removes procurement friction, allowing security teams to maximize existing cloud investments to stop breaches.

Industry analysts and customers have signaled strong support for the move. Jay McBain, Chief Analyst at Canalys, observed that cloud marketplaces are becoming the primary route to market for enterprise software, as they align security purchases with broader cloud spending. Tom Le, Chief Information Security Officer at Gap Inc., added that the move provides the “agility to adapt to rapid shifts in technological change,” supporting secure global innovation.

The CrowdStrike Falcon platform is purpose-built in the cloud, utilizing a single lightweight-agent architecture to deliver real-time threat intelligence and automated remediation. It is available immediately on the Microsoft Marketplace with full MACC decrement eligibility.
